So far, there have been no shedding and judging from my past experience with Sigma brushes, these should be just as durable and well-made. The first time I opened the tin can, there was a hint of a chemical smell but that went away after I washed the brushes. (L-R) E25 Blending, E55 Eye Shading, F40 Contour The bristles are rigid enough not to splay and be all over my face, and they pack the right amount of pigment onto my skin. The bristles are especially soft sized just right.

Lastly, my favorite out of the three is the F40 which I use to apply liquid and powder blushes. It's my opinion that you can't have too many blending brushes - they are workhorses and are helpful when you want to do a quick eye look.
